Update on Gerry K.

Praise God further test results came out very well and no longer a reason for concern. He appears to be clear of cancer at this time.
We want to thank everyone so much for their prayers and concern. Please keep praying for healing, strength and that the cancer would not return.

Sharon M. just called with an urgent prayer request for her husband, John. John is deathly allergic to bee stings and he just got stung by a hornet this morning. He is being rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Please be praying for proper medical interventions and for the Lord's comfort and peace.

Aunt and Uncle
Please pray for my uncle as he was admitted to the hospital yesterday and diagnosed with pneumonia. He also has other unusual test readings. Pray for his wife, my mother, sister and I as we care for them both. Thank you so much.

Cayden is a one and a half year old boy that was found under water. He is in the hospital and alive, but needs prayer. Please pray for the whole family - especially the cousin that was watching him at the time.

Daughter, Betty B., has been wearing a patch for dizziness & vertigo. She is having an adverse reaction to the patch & thinks she may be getting an overdose. She asked for prayer to be able to work tomorrow & to get in to see the doctor. Please pray for wisdom in this trial.

Drs. had to put Elyse on steroids today as her condition has taken a more serious direction. Elyse is very discouraged as she starts school in 3 weeks and the steroids cause puffiness & weight gain. Dan & Rachel are extremely concerned. Pray that the steroids will work at a low dose level & that hospitalization won't necessary.

Gerry K Update
Gerry is feeling some better since he has passed the 3 months since chemo mark. He will have a routine CAT scan and a PET scan tomorrow to check on things. Please pray for good results.

Bobbie and Larry's Trip
Bobbie and Larry will be flying to Glacier Nat. Park tomorrow (Thurs.). Larry will be flying the plane. They should be back Aug.17th. Pray for a safe trip.

Bobbie's Mom Update
Praise that Bobbie P's mother, Virginia, is no longer in the rehab facility. She moved back to her own apt. this past Monday. Pray for her adjustment to the new routine and for appropriate help to be hired. She does need 24 hr. care.

Bobbie's Niece's Family
Bobbie P's sister Cindy went to Tulsa to help Erin. It was decided that Erin and family will be moving to Longmont to be nearer family support. Cindy needs to find a house to rent and check on job possibilities for
Erin's huisband Mike. The beginning of school for the children puts them on a time crunch.

Please pray for Elyse. After not feeling well for the last 3 or 4 days she was taken in this morning for bloodwork. Her inflamatory markers are up so her Dr. is treating her as if she is having a flare-up (Crohn’s Disease). She has started a 3 week course of antibiotics and then will go in for more bloodwork. He said if the antibiotics do not work then she will have to do steroids. Pray she will not have to do that (that the antibiotics will work) because school starts in 3 weeks.

Carolyn's neighbor
My neighbors 11 yr. old son, Sean Wacker was airlifted there with a serious head injury. He was in Loveland playing on an aircastle when a microburst tumbled him everywhere. He has multiple broken bones and the worst thing is the head injury. They are unchurched and Carolyn has been witnessing to them.

Saige had her operation this morning, and all went well. Her hip has been set in place, and she is now in a half body cast for six weeks. She is now home with her parents. Thanks to all who prayed for her.

Please continue to pray for Amy and her girls as they deal with her husband John's suicide. The funeral is scheduled for Wed. Please pray that the coroner would release John's body today and that they would not require an autopsy. My husband Larry is officiating the funeral so please pray for him and for us as we minister to the family. Thank you so much.

Our friend Amy's husband committed suicide yesterday. They have two daughters: Emily is 13 and Laurie Ann is 7. They have been attending Foothills for the last couple months. Please pray for them and for us as we minister to them right now. Thank you.

Update on Jack S.
Jack had some blood tests done recently that showed he still has infection in his body. The doctor will not clear him to return to work as long as he has infection. Please pray that the antibiotics would kill the infection and that life could get back to normal for Jack and Darla.

Spiritual/physical healing needed
Bobbie P. requested that we pray for her niece Erin who is struggling with alcohol. She possibly attempted suicide last week. Pray for Erin's husband Mike, and her mother Cindy, that they will have wisdom in making decisions regarding care for Erin. Pray also for Erin's 3 young children.

We've been asking for prayer for Pat H.'s sister, Becky, as she has Alzheimer's. Becky's husband, Roy, died yesterday in his sleep. Please pray for the family as they deal with so much loss.
