"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
~Matthew 5:13-16
If we think the ministry of Christ in this world is only as big as what takes place in our church building, we have a fortress mentality. If, however, we understand that what takes place outside of these walls throughout the week is just as important, we will begin to develop a frontline mentality. We should not expect people who don't know Christ to come through our doors seeking to learn of Him. Instead, we must pursue them while endeavoring to meet their needs through God's grace.
Steps to Starting your own Frontline Ministry
- Share your thoughts concerning your Frontline Ministry idea with the Administrative Assistant for Outreach Ministries. She will pass the information on to our church Leadership Team for their review.
- Pray for a period of time with a group of interested people. Pray no less than six weeks for wisdom, discernment, leadership, God's blessing, creativity and resources.
- Ensure that those who are gong to be part of the ministry have godly character, good reputations inside and outside the church, strong marriages (if married) and are team players.
- If you received affirmation for your ministry by our Leadership Team, your ministry as well as your name and contact number will be added to the list of Frontline Ministries listed below.
May our community see the irresistible good deeds of our church family and glorify God!

Do you know of anyone who has a need outside of our church?
Then roll up your sleeves and look for hands-on ways to meet the need they are experiencing. But do not stop there. Remember that you know the ultiimate solution to their deepest need, a need about which they may not even be aware. In the process of serving our community, the goal is to introduce others to the One who can meet their greatest need - Jesus Christ.
